The Inland Empire Credit Union Merger is a Great
Opportunity that will Benefit YOU!

A substantial number of Members have heard the news about our proposed partnership and shared their excitement. The addition of branches, the availability of more products and services, and the continuity of World-Class Service are just some of the reasons you've told us why you're in favor of our proposed merger with Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal)

We know you look forward to the additional value this merger will bring and we are diligently working toward uniting our two well-run credit unions. We have received regulatory approval from the state and are now pending federal approval. In today's economic environment, it is not uncommon for this process to take several months. We will keep you updated on our progress and, following regulatory approval, will ask you to vote on our merger.

The union between IECU and CU SoCal will combine two healthy, well capitalized, and financially sound credit unions. Unlike bank mergers that are designed to make money for stockholders, this exciting partnership benefits you. It will provide you with additional products, conveniences, and value that would take IECU years to provide you on our own. Combining our two healthy organizations will immediately provide you with greater value and convenience such as:

·         Access to seven additional branches in Alhambra, Brea, City of Industry, Covina, El Monte, Pico Rivera, and Whittier in addition to our Pomona location.

·         Extended weekday service hours at six of our seven new branches.

·         Saturday service hours at four of our new branch locations and at the Telephone Service Center where 92 percent of calls were answered within six seconds in 2010.

·         A wider range of products and services including totally free interest-bearing checking regardless of balance, Access Certificates, Investment Services, Small Business Administration (SBA) lending, free Bill Pay, and free Mobile Banking.

Your accounts will continue to be federally insured with equal coverage, and you'll see the same friendly faces in your branch as you see today. all employees will remain with our combined organization-there will not be any job cuts or layoffs.
